HOW TO MAKE PAYMENT TO VENDOR

In order to make payment to vendor 1st open payment window from the task bar on the upper left hand.




After clicking the payment option the following window will appear:





The 1st to do is to enter that vendor id to whom the payment will be made and then allot a respective check number to the check. After that enter the date on which the payment is made. If you are making payment with in the 10 days of discount then the discount head will show the respective discount amount that you are getting in this way:



                              


If payment is made after the 10 days of discount then discount head will show nothing estimating that you are making full payment. If payment is made within the discount limit days then you need to provide an account head to that discount that is availed. You will make a new chart of account with a new ID, description and account type i.e. 326 payment discount and income. In this way the discount amount will be entered in that particular income head.








                                 

Discount account shows the appropriate income head where discount is entered payment is being made to the vendor in this, in the end you need to save the transaction.

HOW TO CREATE PURCHASE ORDER IN PEACH TREE
·        To open the purchase order First go to task menu and click the option purchase order:

·        After clicking the purchase order option the following window will appear:

·        In which the first you have to give vendor ID: and you can make vendor id in maintain vendors
·        If you don’t write i.d then the software give error to make vendor i.d.

·        In this picture There is the  date on which you have given the order and another the date when goods do you want:

·        When you making the purchase order. The purchase order number is next to the date and it is important to write:

·        The next is to write the quantity of the product which is shown in the figure.
·        After that the next thing is to write the item number which is made in maintain inventory items.
·        After that you will enter the amount of the unit price of the product.


·        After entering the information the you can click on the save. to save the data.

          HOW TO MAINTAIN CUSTOMERS RECORD IN PEACH TREE SOFTWARE

First press the button or tab of “maintain” following options will appear from which you have to select “customers\prospects”


After clicking the customers/prospects option the following window will appear:



*  Following section of window is called as HEAD. To create new customer profile we need to fill the following 3 sections which are compulsory to precede further. Which includes customer id name and the 3rd one is GL sales account in sales default tab.
Which is shown as under:

To set up unique purchase transaction defaults for each vendor record, select the sales defaults tab in the Maintain customer window you can see the payment terms, you can change the default settings and set the payment plan as per your requirements by clicking the number which is next to terms button.

After filling the sales default tab options then click on payment defaults tab to proceed further; the payment defaults tab would look like this first you have fill the information of the customer who is on credit the following highlighted options must be filled in order to maintain credit customer record.

You can also set the receipt settings by unchecking the receipt settings options to choose the payment method of customer.





Custom fields tab

This tab gives you number of options to make changes as per your requirement as you can see in the image the is showing the options like 1. second contact, reference etc you can change these labels as per your business requirement.
History tab

History tab gives you the past record of your customer for example the last invoice date, last invoice amount.
Default information
In this window first we go on maintain menu after that put your cursor on default information the sub menu of customer will open and we will click on it as shown under:

After clicking the customer option following window will appear in which there are 5 options: in which first rectangle showing cash on delivery and prepaid which have no discount. While in remaining three options we can give or receive according to the decision of both parties.

Account aging is telling you about the chances of non payment by any customer, this tab which is highlighted telling you about number of days of payment.

Custom field tab is used to add further information of customers and you can change these options of custom tab according to your requirement.

This tab is telling about the extra finance charges which you had to pay in case you unable to in due date and there is also minimum finance charges if the payment is less than amount which you had fixed that you would not pay any type of interest.

maintan chart of account


 Maintain chart of account

 Firstly open new Peach tree software.
we want to maintain With the help of Peach tree we can able to maintain the chart of account.
And click it on maintained chart of account option. to proceed further.
then after that the option is open what kind option do you want then you click on chart of account









when chart of account will open then this window is open 
in which the first thing is acount id which is important.which helps to find easily with code


after that the next option is descriptionwhich show what kind of description is.

 after that the next step is account type which help to system that what kind of account is this


This is a look up button which help to show the all chat of account


v Look up button is used to change the chart of account and edit it.




If you can save your all chart of account then you click the button on  save which is mention on this window.
                                     
this window is asking when you click the beginning balance that select your accounting periods 


                            this windows is used to enter all the amount of the chart of account.
and in down circle shows the income and expense.

Opening Microsoft Word Documents
We'll shortly add an address to the top of our Library Complaint letter. Before we do that, we'll learn how to open a file. After all, you might have closed down Microsoft Word, or your computer might have crashed. The result being that you no longer have your library letter loaded into Word. So here's how to Open a file you have saved, and want to work on again.
From the File menu, click Open:

The Open dialogue box appears, and looks like the image below:

The Open dialogue box looks very similar to the Save As dialogue box. "Save in", "File name", and "Files of type" work in exactly the same way as the Save As dialogue box. Notice, though that the File name text box is blank, and the Open button is not available. It has been greyed out.
The reason that the Open button is greyed out, and therefore not available, is that text box is empty. Once you select a file, the Open button will be ready for us.
But the text box is empty because no file has been selected. A file is selected from the larger white area in the middle. Clicking on the file once with the left hand mouse button will select a file. In the previous image, there was only one file available for selection - a document called "rrKeyCaps.doc". That is not the one we want.
To locate the file we want, we need to open the folder called "My WP Projects". Because that's where we saved it. You can see from the image that this folder is in the list of folders, just below the folder called My Pictures:

You can see also that we are in the folder called My Documents. To open up the folder we want, simply double click it. This will take us inside the My WP Projects:

The whole Open dialogue box now looks like this:

The file we want, Library Letter, has been clicked on. As a result, the Open button is no longer greyed out. We can go ahead and click it. When we do, our letter will open in Microsoft Word.
